Hi last year I did a long event. I started recording when I departed from the camping and only stopped recording once I got back. I would like to know how often I stopped and for how long during the event. Any way to show that?
In an activity’s “Options” at the bottom there is a “Show pauses” slider. This may help you, but for intervals a pause isn’t necessarily a pause as some devices keep recording data during pauses.
No way to see the total time? The event was very long and included a lot of descending so the actual breaks and time it took are hard to see
You could create a custom activity field for that if you could figure out how to calculate it from the data streams. Is moving time good for that activity? If so you could just to elapsed (or recording) time - moving time.
The problem is the activity contains more than just the race but also ride from camping to start, pasta party and ride back to camping. (I’m not very technical btw)
Click on Custom → Search Icon → Type “Stopping” → add e.g. the “stopping times” field to your activities. For old activities you have to Action → Reanalyze to fill in the field value.
Is this what you’ve searched for?
It would if it would show the stopping time for the selection where I want to see it, not just the entire ride
Click on Fields and add the Stopping Time to see it for selections and intervals.
I tried but it still shows total stopping time, not stopping time for my selection
oops, you’re wright. I quickly activated the custom field and saw it displaying a field but it is the value for the entire ride.
The script hasn’t been adapted to return per interval values.
I’ll check later this week if I can adapt the script to return the per selection/interval values.
