3 Feature Requests: Mid-activity crop, TSB toggle for planned workouts & GPS removal on FIT export

Hi everyone,

I’d like to share a few feature requests/suggestions that I think could improve the platform. I hope they make sense and are feasible!

1. Mid-activity cropping / segment removal

Currently it’s possible to trim the beginning or end of an activity, which is really useful. However, it would be great to also be able to remove a segment from the middle of an activity — for example, a long pause, a coffee stop, or any interruption that you don’t want polluting your data. Something like a “crop selection” tool where you can highlight a time range and delete it, merging the surrounding data seamlessly.

2. Fitness chart (TSB / ATL / CTL) — toggle planned workouts on/off

In the Fitness section, it would be very helpful to have the option to include or exclude planned (but not yet completed) workouts from the TSB / ATL / CTL graphs. This would allow for two views:

  • With planned workouts: the current projected trajectory.
  • Without planned workouts: an estimate based only on actual completed training — useful to see where you stand right now, ignoring today’s scheduled session or future planned load.

Ideally this could live in two tabs or simply be a toggle switch, making it easy to switch between both perspectives.

3. FIT file download with optional GPS removal

When downloading a FIT file, it would be great to have the option to strip the GPS data from it — similar to how you can already choose to include or exclude power, heart rate, and other data streams. This is particularly useful for privacy reasons or when sharing a file with someone and you don’t want to expose the exact route.

Finally — if any of these features already exist and I’ve simply missed them, I’m genuinely sorry! I’ve looked around but couldn’t find them. I’d really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction. Thanks a lot for this amazing platform and for always being so responsive to the community! :folded_hands:

That doesn’t make sense. Because obviously if you do 200w for an hour - 1 hour break, and another 200w for an hour, your average was not 200w for 2 hours. But if you just don’t want to “see” the breaks, then put the slider to the left:

Thanks! I hadn’t noticed that option. That’s exactly what I was looking for — I had no idea about that @R2Tom menu. Really helpful, cheers!
