I just realized that all my SUP (Stand Up Paddling) activities are falsely categorized as WALKs after import from Polar Flow.

Check one of the FIT files in [fitfileviewer.com](http://fitfileviewer.com) and have a look at what is in there under ‘sport’ and ‘Sub-sport’.
If the FIT file has the correct sport and/or sub-sport, david will have to check the mapper.

Thank you for your help, @MedTechCD. The FIT file has the sport type “WATER\_EXERCISE”—intervals.icu imports it as a WALK. If @david could indeed take a look at that, it would greatly appreciated. Thank you both so much in advance!

can you share the screenshot of that? there isn’t a definition called WATER\_EXERCISE far as I can tell.

The FITSDK does have SUP

#define FITSportStandUpPaddleboarding ((FITSport)37)

</div>

Thanks a ton for that, @app4g! I didn’t know how to export to FITSDK and exported to another format instead, which had the WATER\_EXERCISE category. But if the FITSDK does have SUP, then that’s even better and just sounds like a mapper issue. Again, thanks a ton for looking into this, @app4g and @david! 🙏

No need to export anything to anywhere. Just open the file using [fitFileviewer.com](http://fitFileviewer.com) and you can see what is the sport like the screenshot above.

I had a look the the fit file for your morning SUP from 19th of July and it says generic, generic?

Thank you so much for looking into this, @david. So that means that the issue is on Polar’s end—I’ll reach out to them and see if there’s anything they can do. Thank you again for your help and for providing such an amazing tool!
