[SOLVED] Fitness/Fatigue data changing?

Not sure if im going mad…

Last night did a Zwift race, and afterwards, my fitness level was 18, and my fatigue was 40 …

  • this morning I log back on, and the same data point (last nights race) now shows fitness 16 and fatigue 26 (this isnt fading fitness/fatigue - its the same data point!)

Is there something going on in the background after uploading data (from strava) that re-calculates fitness/fatigue?

Im pretty sure Im not going mad, as I was suprised to see such a jump in my fatigue level from before the race…

anybody else ever seen this?

Was that race ‘Planned’?
And did it pair correctly right away? If not, it was counted double!
Tick the checkbox ‘Show past planned’ in the calendar options and check if there is a planned race with a load that is not paired. If there is, you have the answer to your question.

I am not sure what happened there. These things are computed asynchronously as data comes in (short delay) and there is a “backup” job to re-compute a couple of times a day to catch bugs, random failures etc…

I think you answered it!

I had a planned race at 7pm but rode a short crit at 1830 instead!

so just after 7pm i looked and it would have counted the race i’d done, and the one i was ‘supposed’ to do at 7…

i presume it gives you till end of day to get it in, before it gets wiped as a ‘planned’ ride…

thanks!

It doesn’t get wiped, if you set the option ‘Show past planned’, it will still appear and you can pair it manually with the race by dragging it onto the race.
You are correct that planned workouts which are not paired, count till midnight. And that’s what probably happened.
