Simulate workout w'bal

Is there a way to simulate the w’bal for an upcoming workout?
I use trainerroad, and VO2 workouts are usually easier for me. I usually end up increasing the intensity. I was thinking that I could try to emulate the workout w’bal and adjust the intensity to drive it close to depletion. Have anyone ever done that?

Sure… You are able to do that in intervals… Just look at the wbal line when you are creating a workout… I use it frequently…

Only works for sessions created manually in intervals.icu though, right?
I’m wondering if there is a way to do that with Trainerroad workouts too.

Unfortunately not. Intervals.icu only gets summary info about the TR workout and not all the steps.

You would only need to use this for finding interval intensity and rest duration. Once you have those, you can modify your TrainerRoad workout and get close to depletion when executing it.
