Repetition ignored when importing from Google calendar

When importing calendar entries from a Google calendar (ics) the repetitions are ignored.
E.g.

Main 10x
- 10m 80% hr

is imported as one 10m effort
But when entering exactly the same text manually in the calender it work correctly

How are you getting those from the Google calendar into Intervals.icu?

Through adding an icalendar link

I have fixed this (sort of). Intervals.icu normally converts incoming text via .ics links to markdown. You workouts were already markdown so it was inserting extra blank lines e.g after the “15x”. Now if the text contains a line break followed by "- " (a list) then it is assumed to be markdown and left alone. Hopefully this doesn’t cause any problems for existing calendars.

Works beautifully for me now. Any way to get them to sync to Garmin Connect as planned workouts?

Currently Intervals.icu doesn’t sync activities from external calendars to Garmin Connect. I will have a look to see what I can do about changing that. You are the first person pulling in workouts in Intervals.icu format via an external calendar.

Thankc, that would be greatly appreciated. It would allow me to continue managing my entire life through one calendar platform  And include intervals.icu in that flow

Unfortunately this isn’t going to work for a while. The parsing of the workout text into steps for the charts and for upload to Garmin Connect etc. is all done in the browser. Currently I can’t do that on the server side so I can’t process the incoming calendar entries for upload to GC.

You can define your plan in Intervals.icu and import your calendar into Google.
