Projections on Fitness Graph

Hi David,
Just wondering if it is possible to allow us to see projected training load and form within the Fitness Graph based on our planned workouts/races?

We can see what the daily and weekly load will be in the calendar based on our training plan so it would be good to be able to see this graphed in the Fitness graphs as well. That way we’ll be able to see how our training plans will affect fitness and form into the future and maybe adjust accordingly if we are ramping up too quickly or the plan doesn’t have us peaking for races etc.

Maybe in the options where you can choose between the number of days shown in the graph, have some options that allow you to see 30, 60 and 90 days into the future as well and then chart these in slightly muted colours?

Thanks,
Al.

+1…
Atm i have to switch between activites, and fitness to see how it will look when adding workouts.

You can do this already. You can use the date drop down “Jan 2020” to pick dates in the future to show future fitness. But lots of people miss that. I am going to have to improve the UI.

You can add workouts on the /fitness page. Also if you have 2 browser tabs/windows open you can have /fitness on one and the other on the calendar. The fitness one will update when you add workouts to the calendar.

Well, at least I figured that one out by myself :slightly_smiling_face: However, I haven’t been able to get to - say - June 2019 without picking 2019 and then having to scroll down. I can easily go to June 2018 when picking 2018 though, or same for any other year…

So it is… I thought it was as I was sure I’d seen it before I obviously forgot how to see it. If you are improving the UI for it at some stage it would be nice to have a setting that shows the projection for a certain number of days by default when going to the fitness chart. I always want to see the next month or two so having that as a default would save a click.

Thanks,
Al.
