Hi David,

in my latest ride I corrected the data because of a 6s power dropout. Now I got a new eFTP based on 6m at 354w and a new season high for 5m at 351w. So in the power curve my 6min power is the same as my power for 4m30s while my power for 5m is actually lower than that. I’m a bit confused by that 😃 Is this caused by the power correction?
Thank you!

Max

Its normal to have higher power for longer durations sometimes. If you consider doing a 10s sprint, coasting for 10s and then another 10s sprint: Your 30s power will be higher than your 20s power.

That is what happened with your 6m5s interval. It has higher power at the beginning and the end.

Okay, that makes sense. Thank you!
