Intervals.icu now has activity maps. The map tracks the marker on the chart, zooms and highlights intervals and achievements when you mouse over them. Click the “Map” button to toggle it on/off.
You can add as many as you like. Pan around on the map to move the circle. You can also define a radius around the start/end of all activities that is considered a privacy circle.
GPS data inside a privacy circle is not shown on the map or in the activity streams download. By default your coaches can see inside your privacy circles.
Great addition especially with privacy circles. I do notice a segment highlighted purple in your example map. Is that a chart selection highlight? a segment?
Hi David,
I’m not sure if this is the correct place to ask but… for 1 activity the map seems wrong : the dot on the map is “moving” faster than the actual pace and finishes the activity when the mouse is still only about half way on the charts. Is this a bug ?

I have just fixed this. I broke it a week ago when I added the bounds option to the activity map endpoint in the API. It wasn’t working for activities with missing GPS points.
