Currently doing some feasibility / UI changes to my BreakAway App. Trying to see if the UI would look better if it had some colors vs the current All Blue.
From what I can see, with color, it does look better and one can quickly see which interval corresponds to what zones at a glance and the Red FTP line delineates which interval would be < or > FTP
However, I don’t like the look of it when it’s in Dark Mode. Esp the color for Z6 and Z7 (Currently using intervals.icu color scheme. Is there a way to change this? I can’t seem to find it)
Zone 2 and Zone 4 are too similar in light mode for me. I don’t know if they’re the same actual colours in dark mode, but it is easier to tell them apart there.
I do have an issue with them in invervals.icu as well as reference.
@David_R does the color picker colours has colours which are better for “red green deuteranomaly” (man, I can’t even spell that word properly. Had to resort to copy paste it)
The new 3 and 5 still have a bit of similarity to my eyes, but not enough to be an issue, especially if they are both visible (determination vs differentiation).
And with all the other cues (height, ftp line) I would find it very easy to use these.
Thanks for putting in some time on this sort of thing!
