After a ride and coming back to a previously opened tab with Intervals running, I hit the Look for New Activities button and don’t see that it is actually working. If I refresh/reload the tab the latest activities are fetched and displayed.

The Intervals.icu client app maintains a persistent connection to the server so the server can push changes (e.g. new activities) to the client. Sometimes this gets broken (not quite sure why and why the client doesn’t notice) and the client stops receiving the updates. Reloading the browser tab fixes the problem. Unfortunately I haven’t managed to sort it out automatically yet.
It isn’t a big deal for me to just reload the page. I wouldn’t miss the look for new activities button if it no longer existed.
It also polls for new wellness data from Oura and/or Google Fit.
