I suggest you post this Q on that particular app’s thread. Intervals.icu doesn’t have an app per se and the app’s developer may miss this post.
Note: I dont remember the app developer’s name on the forum

I’ve sent Matthew a report about this issue and he said that he’s submitted an update which may resolve it. It’s pending App Store review, IIUC.
