[DONE] Intervals from workout (Use Paired Workout For Laps)

I’ve used intervals to create the workout, sync it to Zwift (YAAAY, thanks David). As I dual record every activity, my Garmin syncs to Intervals and Zwift to Strava (if it isnt on Strava… etc).
On intervals the Garmin activity of course doesnt include the laps (don’t start the workout on my Garmin), but as the workout file I created in Intervals is linked to the calendar, it would be nice to have an option to get the intervals from the workout file, and apply them to the activity.

Same here. I make my workout with IcTrainer and record with Garmin 1040 to use AlphaHRV. Then import garmin data to intervals but doesn’t have laps.

So would you want every step in the workout to become an interval? Does Zwift turn every step into a lap?

Yep, I just looked at the upload to strava, and Zwift indeed makes every step a new lap.

I have added an option to do use the paired workout steps for laps.

You might need to adjust the workout offset a little first if you didn’t start your Garmin at exactly the same time.

What if the user opts to SKiip an interval or just fast foward to the next interval because can’t complete?

eg: half way up a 5m 150% interval, but abanoned at 2m?

Doesn’t seems to work for this activity : Intervals.icu
I try the option but after, I have intervals are not correct for the main set of repetition.

Think I must be doing something wrong, because it still only detects the intervals as before. Reprocess and Analyse both don’t change it (with similar settings as above), even after removing all intervals, and Analyse again, it comes up with the same intervals as before, and not with the laps created from the workout.
This is the activity I’m talking about: Intervals.icu

Is the workout paired w the planned one?

Yes it is. I even unpaired it, and paired again. The only thing I haven’t done yet is to remove the activity completely, and reimport it again. But as the option “reprocess” is there, that should effectively give the same result.

I fixed that. I forgot about reps! Note that you also need to tick the “Keep all laps” box or Intervals.icu will remove “weak” intervals that look like recovery.

@Marco_Derix Yours seems to work now. Note the bit about “Keep all laps” above.

Works like a charm. Thanks David, that saves a LOT of manual interval setting clicking
