Intercals out-of-sync with laps

Hello @david, I usually set in intervals.icu to consider the intervals to be the laps from the device.
I see the intervals out-of-sync with the laps and would like to understand why. Take a look below at a screenshot from Strava, which shows the correct duration for each lap:

And here is how it looks on Intervals.icu when using the “Use Laps” action, which detects intervals based on the laps:

Is it a bug or am I missing something? Link for the activity: Intervals.icu

Thanks in advance!
Juan

That usually happens when you have Strava privacy circles enabled. Strava sends bad lap data to Intervals.icu. Those intervals are quite square so the (non lap) auto detection will probably pick them up. Otherwise you need to manually add them or turn of Strava privacy circles. You can also log a ticket with Strava though this bug has been around for at least 3 years so I am not sure it will ever get fixed.

That clarifies a lot, thanks! So if I reenable the sync with Garmin, I will have the original file and not have this issue, right?
The reason why I disabled Garmin sync was to avoid duplicates with the cycling activities I record with Wahoo.
Would it be possible to have a selection of the type of activities I would like to have import from Garmin, just like there is a selection of types of workout to be uploaded to Garmin?

That is correct. I have adding which activities to download from Garmin et al on the todo list. Wahoo was added later which is why it has that feature. I just need to get all this Strava business settled and then I can get back to adding more features.
