Integration with Hevy

Chiming in here in March 2026 to add my name to the list. Integration with Hevy would be HUGE!

I also have a Hevy Pro subscription, and synchronization between Hevy and Strava generally works. For me, it looks like the image below on Strava. However, the weight training data seems to be only transferred as a description text and one image with the muscle overview. I assume that Strava does not yet have its own data representation for weight training?

I can also see the weight training session in intervals.icu, but no data is displayed there, neither the text nor the image. This is either because this data is not read by intervals.icu or because it cannot be displayed due to Strava’s terms and conditions?

Furthermore, if you don’t just want to display the data from weight training as text and image, but also want to work with the data in some way, you would first have to decide on a uniform data representation within intervals.icu

Do we know if there will be any progress on this made? I mostly just want to get the total lifting volume put into the app so I can have some understanding of TSS from my lifting.

Breaking it down into body part is also obviously a desire, but one thing at a time

Same here. I do not wish to link Hevy via Strava. I tried the Corentvn but didn’t work for me.. also despite the best intentions, it is a third party solution. I would like to see a native connection to Hevy.

@Bulak_Arpat

Hello,

Could you please explain what went wrong? I’d like to help and ensure it works smoothly for everyone, not just for me.

It’s working fine on my end and is now setting the total volume lifted on intervals.ICU

EDIT:
I found a bug in the previous implementation. It should now work properly if the configuration described above is followed correctly.

Hey everyone, I built a small open-source tool that syncs Hevy strength workouts to Intervals.icu. Sharing it in case it’s useful for others here.

What it does:

  • Pulls your Hevy workouts and creates WeightTraining activities in Intervals.icu
  • Each exercise with sets, weights, reps, RPE and total volume in the description
  • Estimates training load from tonnage + set density (or uses your RPE if you log it in Hevy)
  • Automatic timezone detection from your Intervals.icu profile
  • SQLite dedup so you can re-run safely

Two ways to use it:

  1. Run locally — python hevy_intervals_sync.py sync after a session, or schedule it with cron
  2. Webhook server — deploy on a VPS for real-time sync when you finish a workout in Hevy

Requires Hevy Pro (for the API key) and Python 3.10+.

One thing to note: Intervals.icu defaults WeightTraining to 0% fitness contribution (CTL), so the load shows as “Load 0 (46)”. You can change this in Settings → “Fitness and fatigue for different activity types”. More details in the README.

Again on the non native integration, but I’m building PacePartner (an Intervals-focused coaching layer), and we’ve recently added beta support for strength integrations — including Hevy.

The idea is to bring strength into the same context as endurance rather than treating it as something separate. Right now the integration:

  • syncs completed workouts from Hevy back into Intervals
  • and allows generating strength sessions based on overall training context (load, fatigue, etc.)

Still early and very much in beta, so I’m mostly trying to understand how people actually want to use this in practice.

@Corentvn
It seems your patch is successful. It worked and I do see my Hevy workout synced almost immediately in intervals.icu. Until there is native support, I will use your solution. Thanks.

On the topic of Hevy integration, I saw these the other day which may be useful as references for any future integrations: GitHub - drkostas/hevy2garmin: Sync Hevy gym workouts to Garmin Connect: 438 exercise mappings, FIT file generation, automatic upload · GitHub & GitHub - Zettt/liftosaur2garmin · GitHub. Obviously, these both refer to Garmin integration, so would need to translate them into the intervals equivalent

+1 for me on this too.

For iOS users - I use the “HealthFit” app to sync my strength workouts recorded to Apple Health to both Strava and Intervals.icu. As another user mentioned, Hevy doesn’t send complete data to Strava, so things like HR data are missing and therefore does not provide useful data. Hevy workouts do however get recorded properly to Apple Health, so using HealthFit to sync winds up sending all the relevant data to both Strava and Intervals.

I’m adding to the request. I’ve been hoping for this integration for a long time.

Hi,
Thank you so much for the integration. I set the settings you indicated and it works great. It syncs instantly after finishing the workout on Hevy, and it even shows the weight lifted.

Perhaps the layout of the exercise history when it’s added to the Intervals notes could be improved.

Thank you so much, it’s fantastic! Finally, I don’t have to copy and paste and transfer all the data.

No plans on this feature?

With the new API I have Hevy set to save to apple health, then use the intervals companion IOS app to sync to Intervals, and the sets are all there

This is the official API of Hevy App.

I’d like to see some official integration too.

Hello,

As my small module has gained some users (was not expected), I’ve made a few changes:

  • I’ve moved the module out of my personal app and isolated it on icu.corentvn.dev, a dedicated website for the Intervals-Hevy bridge.
  • I’ve added a feature to sync all past Hevy workouts to Intervals.icu. Previously, the bridge only added new workouts since registration. Now, it can sync historical data, ensuring all your workout history is available on Intervals.icu.

Here are some statistics:

  • We currently have between 10 and 20 active users.
  • We synchronized 50-70 new workouts and 700 historical workouts (mine).

Further improvements:

  • We are awaiting Hevy to share Heart Rate data via API, which will then be included in workouts on intervals.icu.
  • No other new features are planned, as this module is designed to operate in the background. Once you log in and set it up, it requires no further attention.
  • However, I am open to any suggestions if a need can be met by the app within the scope of the Hevy-Interval.icu bridge.

Hey ! Thanks a lot for the integration  I have been able to sync my past Hevy workout, however new ones do not sync, is your integration still active ? Thanks, Nico

Hello @Nicooo,

Nothing has changed, and the integration is still active. Make sure the following requirements are still valid:

  • Have the correct configuration on corentvn.dev :
    • Intervals.icu athlete ID
    • Hevy API key
  • Have the correct configuration on Hevy.com:
    • Pro subscription
    • Webhook URL
    • Intervals.icu athlete ID as the authorization header

EDIT: On hevy.com If everything is correctly configured but still not working, you can click on the ‘Subscribe’ button below the webhook settings again. I faced this issue as well.

(see my previous configuration post)

If the problem persists, you can contact me by email at [email protected].

Have a nice day!

Another +1 for native integration.

Non tech savvy now going to try and follow the solution posted by @Corentvn to see if I can make this magic happen. Thanks for posting that as an option (and to all the other methods people have posted here).
