Integrate intervals.icu with Athlete Food Coach

Hi I also would like to be part of the beta @Marcel_Soute

Hi Rob,
Please send an email to info at theathletesfoodcoach.com mentioning intervals and the email address that you registered with. i’ll be happy to add you

Hi Jos,

This issue should be resolved a while back. Please let me know if you are still experiencing this and i will have a look.

@Marcel_Soute I’m experiencing a similar issue, that load isn’t coming through. I have a race planned for saturday: all out TT effort, approx 21 minutes, with estimated load of 50. But FoodCoach thinks it will be endurance training with 182w avg and now way to change it really.

Also, it didn’t sync my already planned workouts. I had to make small changes to them to get them to appear.

Hi Sander, we currently do not sync any allready planned workouts when connecting, this is on our backlog to implement thought.

Regarding the estemation. Based on estimated load we infer the trainingType. Next if there is a workout doc with a structured workout we get the avg power from there, if that is not available then we calculate estimated avg based on trainingType and FTP. I

The issue you are facing is that there probably isn’t a workout doc combined with a wrong inference of the trainingtype (shor duration with a load of 50 would probably be a high intensive session.
Better inference is on the backlog as well. For now what you could do is add a workoutdoc (structured workout) to get a better calculation in FC.

just wrote the email @Marcel_Soute
will it just be toggled in the app or do i have to do anything else?

Hi Rob, I’ve just added you to the beta group. You would only need to re-login into the app and the connection should be visible from the settings page where you can also connect to Strava / Garmin etc. If not send me a PM.

@Marcel_Soute I’d really like to get involved in this. I’ve sent you an email.

Thanks

Hi @Marcel_Soute

I was added to the beta group a few months back, at first may workouts i planned would since onto athlete food coach but this stopped and i cant figure out how to get my newly planned workouts to sync across, any advice?

@Marcel_Soute How can I see the carbs, fats, and proteins I eat daily in intervals.icu that I enter daily on foodcoach?

@Marcel_Soute and All, I just signed up to the foodcoach yesterday, but syncing with i.icu seems to still be buggy?
Yesterday’s planned workout synced to foodcoach after I had performed the activity and that was synced in from Garmin… and then the two were not synced.
No future workouts are synced into foodcoach, not even the run I newly added earlier today for today… Getting nutrition “planning” after the workout is obviously not so useful and I would assume a multi-day forward looking analysis is necessary to begin with…
Is this working for others? Any tricks?

Moreover, I second @Manuel_Oberti’s question on getting the macro-info pushed to i.icu “wellness” data.

Email sent! thx

Hello,

What about this topic? I see that on the app, there is only the TrainingPlan tab and not the Activity Data tab available?

@ Marcel_Soute, are there any plans to send nutrional info from theathletesfoodcoach.com to intervals.icu? This topic seems to be about pulling workout / training info form intervals.icu?

Hi - I would be interested in this as well. Plus: is there any way I can change the “type of training” within the scheduled workout in intervals / is there anything I need to specify in the scheduled workout to make this change? I read that it depends on the normalized power, but don’t see how this can reliably define the type of training.
