I have a Garmin FR945LTE and when a run is uploaded intervals sets the elevation correction on and the GAP is all wrong. I have now changed the elevation correction to “no” instead of “auto” in settings. I hope now that recorded runs will be imported with elevation correction off.
The FR945LTE is supposed to have a baro altimeter so I’m not sure if this setting is correct or there is a problem with the altimeter in the 945?
The 945LTE is suposed to have a built in barometer and should use it. Unless it’s busted.
When my barometer was busted, one of the things that made it apparent was
the termperature stuck
the altimeter shows wild readings. (a 50m run became 500m)
Since I own a fenix, there was a secret “service menu” i did to check whether the baro was “invalid” I’m not sure if such a menu exists for the forerunner series. Try googling it?
