Sometimes when I try to fix zero values of power or cadence, I get “No data points were changed”. Even if values of these are zero. I have checked “Replace zeros with preceding data” and selected power and cadence.
You might also have to tick the “Replace missing points …” box. Missing data points are often rendered as zero on the charts but there is a difference.

I also have seen this, and also noticed David about it.
The fix function seems to work sometimes and sometimes not.
You can always fix dropouts via “Actions/Edit data”.
But first, zoom in the part of workout where the erroneous data is.
