Developer fields for custom charts and fields

@david can we expect for support for accessing any developer field in the fit files from custom charts and custom fields scripts in a short term?

If you can map the field to a custom activity field then yes and you should be able to map developer fields with names easily. You can access custom activity fields from custom activity charts via the activity object (activity.CustomFieldCode etc.). Intervals.icu needs to know what to extract from the fit file when it is processed for performance and space reasons.

I am also going to be doing custom activity traces soon i.e. mapping record and record-like message fields.

Custom activity streams

Intervals.icu now supports custom activity streams for extracting data from record messages in fit files. Click “Charts” under the activity timeline chart and then “Custom Streams”. Custom activity streams can now be computed using Javascript. You can access other streams, fields on the activity or athlete, wellness data and anything else needed.
