[SOLVED] Add "Climbing" to a treadmill session?

Why isn’t the Climbing data/number visibile, or editable, under Avg Speed to be able to add estimated elevation gain during for a treadmill activity. This is an absolute must have option for trail runners that use interivals.icu.

I have tried to delete the activity, download the Garmin .fit file with the updated elevation and import it into intervals and the elevation data is not showing up.

I can see that this has been plaguing other users for at least the last 4 years (based on looking through the forum to try and find an answer to this).

It used to be something we could at least edit manually, I used the feature a lot to keep track of my indoor elevation. This morning I noticed the field was gone as well

Yeah thats too bad that they dont have that feature anymore…wont be doing treadmill workouts from here on out. I’m guessing that on some of the newer ant+ BT treadmills that measure elevation it may translate correctly to garmin and therefore intervals.

Mine still has this ability.

hm, I am also missing this field and need it for treadmill workouts to manually pu in the elevation gain… could it be that you only get it as a supporter ?

Is that a treadmill activity?

it’s not but it suposedly editable for any activity

It was until some point last week. Now I can’t see the field. Feels like since it’s not set, it just doesn’t appear on treadmill activity

@david Could be that editing elevation is „broken“ with the new ability to customize the summary.

Climbing is back. Tx @R2Tom for the ping. I made it only show up if there is an altitude stream. I have reverted that.

How do you enable an altitude stream, and reverted how?

I was referring to an internal Intervals.icu code thing. I configured “Climbing” to only show up on activities with altitude. I have changed that so it always shows up so people can manually capture it for treadmill runs etc…
